Hola Familia,  Sharing with you some recent creations and a weekend with Amanda.  I really enjoyed making these wood tiles.  Found some more mini stamps an this is what happened. This is a wooden box from Michaels. Amanda painted it with Black acrylic and gold metalic paint.  I came home from work and saw this beautiful little box on the table.  The top and sides have lovely green stems and little pink flowers.  She sealed it with Mod Podge.  I think she did a really nice job.

I'm just saying!!!! LOL.... I had to try these on for size LOL.... Checking out some goodies at Pier One last weekend.  I think they're a perfect fit.  Don't you????  LOL. xox

I found this dress form and a beautiful cotton shawl to snas it up a bit.  Perhaps one day I'll get to own one.  Today was just a see, enjoy it kind of a day!  LOL

Amanda with her dream Sea Horse lamp.

Next best thing.   A smaller version of the beautiful dress form I showed you before.  Yea,  I didn't get this one either. LOL...  We had a blast just sight seeing shopping!

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

Hola Familia!  Happy Mother's Day to all you special ladies.  Wanted to show you my latest project.  These are my very first Altered Wood Tiles.  Learned to make these easy and messy tiles from Linda's "Livartnow" youtube channel.  Check out her tutorial.  Here's the link. http://youtu.be/jd1rpU6qTEI.   Thank you Linda for sharing!

Products I used to make the tiles were:  White Gesso, Masking tape, archival ink (Black), Prima clear stamps, background script rubber stamp, ranger's distress ink, mod podge to seal the tiles after stamping.  Finished with glossy accents to give it the dimensional look.

If you've never tried this, take the plunge...  It's fun.  Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment and let me know what you think.  Until soon!

Tag

Hello again,  Just finished this tag to accompany the altered "H" for Helga.  The paper is also from Graphic 45 Fashionista Collection.  The image is from Kanban Crafts Clear Stamp.  She's been stamped with versa mark and sprinkled with Detailed White embossing power to make her stand out.  Next to her bag are two chocolate blings from E.  Feather, handmade pin with pearl and "Made for You" charm, "The Best of Times" dimensional sticker and prima fabric flowers from my stash.   Below are two close-ups of the tag.   Thanks for stopping by.... Want to hear from you, leave me a comment.
