A Valentine for Amanda & Weekend fun Project

Hello Friends,  Sharing a Mixed Media Canvas I made using altered tissue paper, mod podge, dylusions ink sprays, painted brown paper flowers, crafter's workshop girl stencil and bird house/branch and some stamping.  A Valentine gift for my Amanda.  She loved it.  Below are some pictures of the process.

Thanks for stopping by.

This project was fun to make.  I  used a 5 x 7 inch canvas board.  The center piece is from an Altered Newspaper by Littlecanvases on Youtube.  (Visit her channel for the tutorial, it's fun)
I gessoed the canvas, painted with several metallic paints and used two different size circle stencils I bought at Sa Crafter's Zibbet's shop.  The feathers are from Littlecavases.  Love tile,  vintage shoe and wooden key are from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by.  Comments are always welcomed.

Have a great Sunday.

Weekend projects just for the fun of it

Hello again.  Another fun project I started over the weekend and it has taken off. LOL.  I saw an Altered Frame tutorial by  Donna03311
She showed how to make these YOYO Flowers.  It's really relaxing and I've enjoyed making them.  Thank you for stopping by.

I have brought some different inks and hadn't used them in a while.  So during the weekend I started testing each one on my mixed media journal and I couldn't stop.  This is what came out of my Ink extravaganza.  Enjoyed it alot and so did my fingers.  lol

Take care and thanks for stopping by.

Flat Faylene Challenge at Littlecanvases

Introducing " Lady Flat Faylene" Queen of Hearts from the land of Flat People. LOL  This is my entry to Littlecanvases 1000 subbies giveaway.  We're suppose to make a flat doll of paper.  I made my doll from an ATC card, dressed the paper with a piece of beautiful altered news paper littlecanvases gifted me.  Here's the tutorial where you can make it.

Wrapped lady flat Faylene in some pretty red twine as an under dress and for the top layer of her royal dress some lovely and sparkly lace. Top it all with her silver crown, silver slingback shoes, a shinny purse and her large shinny heart with a stick pin and feathers.  Girl must represent.  I really enjoyed creating this project.  Below are some pictures.  Thank you for stopping by.  Visit Littlecanvases channel.
