Handmade with Love for me....
My First Happy Birthday Banner!
This is a little birthday card for my friend's daughter 1st Birthday. My first try at making a banner. It's very simple but I have to say I was a nervous reck trying to put it together. Can you see and feel the Love oozzzing out on the banner? lol. It was made for Baby Cori Noelle. "Happy Birthday Precious". It's suppose to hang on the wall but I took these pictures with the banners on my sofa.
The project comes from a Banner Tutorial by: Laura Denison - Following the Paper Trail: http://www.followingthepapertrail.blogspot.com/

Altered Box From Donna " Donna03311"
Hello there! Hope you're all doing well. Wanted to share this beautiful altered box created for me by a terrific crafter. Her name is Donna and one day while looking at some tutorials on youtube I happened to come across a photo of a really cool box. I clicked on the link and vuala! All kinds of georgeous altered boxes started to sliceshow before my eyes. I loved them all so I emailed and complemented her. I went a step further and asked if she would be interested in swapping with me.
To my happiness I got an answer and here are the pictures of her special creation just for me. The two last pictures are of the goodies she enclosed in the box. Aren't they beautiful?
Take a moment and visit Donna on youtube. (http://youtu.be/JSBY2nlZo6s) Subscribe. You won't be dissapointed.
Love to hear from you. Please feel free to leave a comment below. Have a great week!

A project in the works!
This round box was meant to be created for a swap, but I messed up. Yes... I know, boo boo. But not to worry I did re-coop and made another box for the swap and will post photos soon. In the mean time I'm here looking at this one. Looking at it. The box is looking back at me and saying.... "Well girl, what's next? Cause you can't leave me like this! " I'm just looking....
lol.... I'll get to you soon. Any ideas? Leave a comment. Love to hear some suggestions or ideas.
Thanks for stopping by.

A Birthday gift for Xiomara
Xiomara's Birthday was back in July. I know, I know, this posting is a bit late. But I thought it's never too late to share a project, right? lol. I bought an "X" made of wood at Michael's Craft store and decorated using beeswax and an assortment of napkins pieces. I learned this techinque through a tutorial by Natalie. (Check out my previous post for the link to her tutorials) If you haven't tried this technique go for it. You'll love it. Below you'll see the completed project.

Hello! It's been a while. Thought I share a project my daughter Amanda made while she was home on this past summer from school. This is a wood frame my Michael's Craft store and was decorated with napkins and beeswax. I think it came out really beautiful especially since it was Amanda's first try with this medium. The girl has talent! lol
